Photos in albums

I recently started using iCloud Photo Library and am very happy with it so far.

I have all my photos organised into albums by year and big events. They are sorted by date in the albums in Photos on my Mac but on my iOS devices they are in a random order.

Is this a bug? Is there a way to force them into dated order on iOS devices?
