Hey guys, I'm looking for some advice on the photos app on iOS 9 using and iPhone 6S and iPad mini 2.
I had selected some photos and added them to the favourites album on my iPhone. I then wanted to edit them on my iPad.
I was connected to wifi on both iPad and iPhone, but the photos were not showing up in the favourites folder on the iPad. The iCloud accounts are both the same and photos do normally crossover eventually. However I was wondering if there was a way to force the photos across or get the app to search for changes.
I know if I saved them in Google photos, when I load the Google photos app, it will search the Internet and make any changes I have made immediately.

I move photos and videos between various iOS devices and Macs over our local wireless network using a 3rd party app called PhotoSync. It is much faster and does not depend on an internet connection (e.g. iCloud).

You will need to use iCloud Photo Library for that if you don't yet. Go to settings-photos and turn on iCloud Photo Library on all you devices (preferably with optimised storage to save you space). This will upload all your pictures and keep them in sync between devices, including albums and edits. You can also view them on iCloud.com, its like google photos basically just more private

I seem to have solved it. Think it was a storage issue. 16GB iPad is just not big enough!!

iCloud Photo Library and optimised storage is your best friend with a 16gb iPhone.

I have both of those active but when there's no space left on the iPad, it just won't show any new photos in the photos app. Nothing appeared till I freed space by deleting an app.
