Well, the lack of a charging port, that serves as a communication port and allows you to DFU format your smartphone, is what is going to make me buy this 2020 iPhone 12. Otherwise I’d have waited, but I don’t think I want a port-less smartphone.
IMO - There’s no way they’d ever remove ports from the entire line. They might use it to differentiate the iPhone pro from the non pro, but people use iOS in so many production environments with so much plug in hardware the repeated rumours of no ports make no sense to me, it’s just incredibly unlikely.

They’ve made inroads into music and podcasting, and there’s tons of software that relies on midi, etc.. Every solution to make all that stuff work again on a wireless system is worse than what they already have.

My iPhone 8 Plus is still working fine, but I think the iPhone 12 is my next phone. My Apple Card is ready!

RAM? Isn’t that the processor? Why would they slap the A14 logo on RAM? It’s the actual silicon processor chip they stick the logo on or am I missing something.

Agreed. I've never seen an iFixit tear down where the Apple logo or reference to the processor has featured on the RAM components. RAM chips are almost always rectangular in shape; the processor is square.

It's my guess that if this photo is of a genuine part, then it's not RAM, but in fact the processor, and the poster has captioned it incorrectly.
