They all look the same because...

Yes... All apple stores look the same. So do Starbucks and a ton of other retail stores. Apple actually owns the forrest where they harvest the wood for their $45k ea. Tables. They also own the company that produces the tiles for the floors. The ceilings are actually stretched silk, not typical ceiling tiles.

I wonder what the actual cost is to just build a bare bones store without any product?

Does anyone know which enterprise(s) is contracted to bring these stores to light?

Good for the people in Barcelona.

But that doesn't look a very remarkable design of a store, maybe with some more picture it'll become one.

I still like the ones in where I live (Hong Kong) and the fifth avenue the best.

Barcelona, Catalan City &Organic Catalan Wine....presents its first iBook2 wine guide

From Barcelona...This is the first Ibook2 wine catalogue ever made on that format*and will soon be in English and Spanish.

http://bit.ly/IbookIpad

The author sets out the virtues of organic vitiviniculture, the health benefits of drinking wines produced in this way and offers the first analysis the present day market, including a complete catalogue of the quality-price relationship and the main characteristics of each wine. The guide addresses the specialist forums and prizes associated with the sector, plus other information never before discussed in a single publication in the genre of organic products.

Importantly, in its paper edition also available in www.vinumnature.com, Ecomundis has made an effort to reduce CARBON FOOTPRINT publication to 0.43 kg by using fully recycled paper (new practice in the business of wine guides) and by the use of vegetable-based inks with less impact.

New store in Barcelona

We arrived just as the store employees were making their entrance along with whistles, applause and TV cameras shooting. It was about a 90-minute wait to get inside. They had probably 50 crowd control people managing the throng.

Passeig de Gràcia has many trees, but for the last section they gave out parasols to provide shade. As you entered the store, they handed you a box containing a T-shirt specially designed for this store. The employees also applauded us as we entered.

All signage was in català, nothing in castellano. All the employees are at least bilingual and a number were trilingual as well. I found the employees to be knowledgable about the products even though this was the first day. They obviously had training.

I was surprised to see the broad selection they had for third-party products like Thunderbolt RAID, loudspeakers, earphones, and cases.

One of the entrances for the Barcelona Metro and Rodalies commuter train station is 10 m (30 ft) from the store entrance. From inside, there are very nice views of adjoining Plaça de Catalunya, considered the center of Barcelona.
