These are the AI servers that have been reported about (and yes, discussed here heavily… that they may be making too many of).
It's the first time we're seeing Apple-made servers since the XServe was discontinued in 2011. Kind of exciting to see Apple Silicon inside a proper rackmount form factor. I wouldn't mind a couple at my shop, running Server.app and OD again ;-)
But also, people have often been very curious about "what does it look like in Apple's own data centers? What do they use internally for their hardware?" Well, in small part, here's your answer.
