Photos from my iPhone are syncing fine to the iCloud, but my MacBook Pro says it last synced on July 27th. My Mac mini has not synced since June 25th. No about of logging out, back in, restarting the computer or quitting and restarting photos has made any difference. Interestingly, photos are syncing to my company owned MacBook Air.

All computers are up-to-date with the latest Ventura Mac OS (13.4.1). Photos is on version 8.0. Nothing in the App Store or system says it's waiting to be updated. My iPhone 14 Pro is also up-to-date and running iOS 16.6

Anyone have any luck forcing Photos to sync?

did you log out from your iCloud account or from your Macbook only?
Logout/login from/to iCloud sometimes restarts the syncing process.

I have not tried that. I was really hoping to avoid that, as that would require setting up apple pay and adding cards all over again. It seems like Apple could come up with some sort of less drastic solution. But I guess, ultimately that is the next thing to try.

Why don't you just use the USB cable method? It's much faster than iCloud and doesn't require any iCloud space or logging in/out of iCloud. Link phone to Mac with USB regularly and let that do all of the synching. It works great every time, is much faster and costs $0/month subscription. When iCloud is down, buggy or if even your entire internet connection is down, a quick wired connection still works every time.

It's also a much better way to sync big video files shot on iDevice because it is so much faster... and your own owned music collection to iDevice too.

You could try to create a new photo library on your mac, configure the new (empty) library to be the system library and icloud library.

Not work for me ... so said. Thank you.
The upload to icloud.com from my devices is working good. But can not download any new photo or album changes from icloud.com.

System log said: All my devices have same logs.
