    Guys, my sincere apologies.......
    I have a new iPhone 7 Plus restored from a 6s Plus.
With the 6s Plus if I take a photo it will automatically be shown on both my iPad and iMac.
With the 7 Plus however the photo is not uploaded nor shown on the other devices.

I have checked the settings and both the 6s Plus and 7 Plus are the same.

The only difference and this is where I am thinking could be the culprit is for some unknown reason under iCloud backup I have noticed on the 7 Plus 'Photo Library' is shown stating 55GB need backing up.
On the 6s Plus however the Photo Library is not shown but instead it correctly displays at the bottom of the screen "Photo library is backed up separately as part of iCloud Photo Library.".

Because there is this error I have disabled on the 7 Plus Photo Library to be backed up otherwise it will exceed my iCloud storage allowance.

Question being do you think by disabling Photo Library from iCloud backup it is in turn stopping newly taken photos automatically uploaded to the other devices.
If this is the case I need to find a way to stop the 7 Plus from using Photo Library and do as the 6s Plus does.

    Help!!!

If you just restored your phone leave it over night make sure you're connected to wifi and iCloud Photo Library will be in sync by morning. I've noticed a lag after restoring from backup on a new phone but it went away.

No sorry, the iCloud backup failed.
I left it carrying out a manual iCloud backup overnight only to find it had failed this morning. It either says there is not enough room in iCloud which is wrong or it just stops abruptly.

I need to get rid of Photo Library being backed up with the other apps. It should not need to do this as it is already being done under Photos where I have cloud Photo Library enabled.

Disable it in the backup and it shouldn't get backed up as part of it.

Your iPhone won't start uploading new photos until your old photo library is done syncing to your new phone.

Yep, did that before trying to backup iCloud but no, the Manual iCloud backup failed.
Am trying it again and the progression bar is moving so horrendously slow (normally it whizzes through as I have a stable fast wifi).

All other setting up syncing has completed but no photos have been synced.

Now it's telling me it can not complete the backup due to a poor wifi signal.
This is total no no... I have an extremely stable and fast wifi (just checked it on the iPhone using another app).
This issue seems all to be with iCloud backup.
There's no iCloud backup to delete so I can't do that.
I've signed out of iCloud then power volume down to reset the phone then resign back in again to iCloud.
No matter what I do it just will not carry out an iCloud backup.

Get this sorted and I'm sure I can in turn sort out my photo sync issues.

I know this is basic but thought I'd ask: have you tried signing out of iCloud?
