Photos want to upload everything again!!

Hi Everyone.

Not sure if anyone has encountered this behaviour before.

I have a photo library of about 80gbs and they were all uploaded to the cloud using Photos. Now for some unknown reason it wants to upload them all again! Ive logged onto iCloud.com and they are still in the cloud.

It took an age the first time round and feels like I have been doing this forever. Ive got a late 2011 MBP with 8GB ram and loads of storage on both.

Anyone have a fix?

I also faced this problem. The only thing you can do is to remove the Icloud Photo Library link on your Iphone.
The fotos which get not deleted on the iphone you have to delete manually. Delete also the "Deleted items" folder on the iphone. Then switch on the Icloud Photo Library link again.

Then it will "download" all fotos again to your iphone....i mean a preview of each....

This will work.
