My photo albums from Photos will not sync anymore to my iPhone. Has this happened to anyone else?

I can see the option in the Finder window, and every time I click the albums to sync, click apply, then sync, nothing happens.

Do you have iCloud Photo Library enabled on both devices? Or you are referring to local sync as with iTunes?

Have you checked if sync location is set to Photos app? Or maybe to some empty folder due to a glitch?

Yes, here too. Syncing from Mac to iPad not working. It’s only with Photos, Music syncs as it should. Syncing photos from file system also works.

This is a known bug if you upgrade to Catalina on your computer, all your photos that aren't in the root folder of photos disappear. So if you have your photos organized in albums, as most people do, they will not transfer. I called Apple Support got transferred to 4 different people who didn't know how to help and then disconnected. This is garbage. There have been so many issues with iPhoto and now Photos, upgrading libraries and syncing. As a photographer who needs to store and organize photos and have them mobile, I'm going to use a different service, likely Google Photos. After 30 years of Apple, they've lost my confidence.

I agree. This has been very frustrating. That said, I've simply given up on the idea that they'll get it right.
