Hi, I just received a couple of days ago my new Macbook Pro to replace my old 2006 iMac, the migration went smoothly and everything was in place like it was on old the old Mac.

So I went ahead and started photshop, the second it launched, I got an error message saying (In my own words, can't remember what it specifically said...) that there was some problem with the color profiles, something like that.

I went ahead and checked out the difference with the DigitalColor Meter and DreamWeaver ( Because it was open). What was supposed to look like #231f20 in photoshop was completely off, what the DigitalColor Meter and DreamWeaver were showing was #1A1718...

What could possibly the problem here is that while migrating, photoshop kept the color profiling of my iMac thus giving me an error textbox at the startup. This is just my two-cents, i'd like to know what you think of this.

If you open up Bridge, you can sync colour settings across all CS apps. It's under the Edit menu in Creative Suite Color Settings. That was probably what the warning was about.

Bridge !? Uhh yeah, maybe I made a mistake and deemed Bridge as useless, but uuhh... I kinda made it go away a loonnggg time ago... Think something else could fix the issue ? Like deleting the plist to reset my preferences or something ?

**EDIT** : Alright, I just disabled the color management for it to fit my uncalibrated screen... I know i'm going to regret it but for now it's a temporary fix.

    Thanks Blue Velvet.
