Photoshop Elements 9 install hangs

Trying to install the trial...keeps hanging at 36% "installing inspiration browser"...even tried restarting, redownloading the package...same result...stuck for an hour at 36% complete. Nothing on the Adobe forums...Any ideas?

No problems installing here.

On the early 2009 iMac quoted in my sig - running OS X 10.6.4

Install gets to that point and after sitting and looking at the "time to finish" climb to like 140 minutes, I finally have to "force quit" it, the cancel button lets you press it, but it doesn't cancel the setup.

I have Elements 8 installed and it works fine...guess I'll have to stick with it for a while.

I looked at the trial for 9 myself, and the install was problematic. It took forever to download, stopped the process if I did anything else on-line. The install was a several hour deal on a MBP 2.5/C2D/4GB ram/7500 rpm HD. I left it do it's thing overnight.

Thanks Dale...maybe if I get feeling masochistic, I'll start the install again and let it go overnight and see if it actually finishes.
