Haters gonna hate

I'm a graphic designer and have a pretty decent camera to use, but sometimes (many times) when I'm out and about, my only camera is my iPhone. In those instances, I usually want to just do some minor edits to the photo, and this is provides a simple, quick, easy, familiar and FREE way to do that.

So stop hatin' – this program isn't for anymore than that... at least not yet.

If you guys are looking for a great image editing app for iPad I HIGHLY recommend Photogene.

It has curves, levels, filters, sharpening, cropping and more all in a nice package. It works great with the RAW files from my XSI.

Sure.. It's not a complete replacement for Lightroom on my MBP... But it is perfect for the quick adjustment while on vacation to upload to flickr or Facebook.

I'm still waiting for Lightroom express that I can sync with my Lightroom catalogue...

Photogene opens RAW files?

FLASH IS DEAD. PS IS DEAD. AND SO IS ADOBE.

Flash sucks, but Photoshop and Adobe? Adobe can put some really good stuff out there; the problem is that they're stretching themselves thin and can't focus on their core competencies. They're a bit like Microsoft where that's concerned. Photoshop is still the industry standard image-editing app, for a reason. I've never heard of any application for either Windows or Mac that comes close to having its level of editing ability. There are some that are good at certain tasks, like Pixelmator (which I'm quite fond of), but they're still not quite Photoshop.

I hope you understand law better than you understand what industry standard means for PS. Chances are, you don't.

I got it but it's not editing the RAW files from my 350D (XT); it's opening the JPEG iPad makes from the embedded JPEG.

It isn't going to have the computing power to be able to do curves, levels and layers! That is why you buy a computer. If those features were added everyone would complain that it runs too slow and crashes all the time with their multi-megabyte RAW files. Duh.

Because, of course, back in 2000 we couldn;t do those things on an 800MHz G4 . </sarcasm>

Thank God for this great free app!
At least I can rotate photos...
The Photos app should be seriously updated so it can at least rotate or crop pictures and sort pics into folders!!!!

Good thing that it's free!!!

'Photoshop Express' Comes to the iPad

Really this doesn't make front page when the kind of rechargeable batteries apple uses does?
