Photoshop Filter Fonts issue

I'm running the latest Photoshop (Creative Cloud) v 23.0.1 on my intel iMac (2019 i9, 5K). I recently noticed that the FILTER FONTS BY CLASS (serif, sans, script, monospace, etc) no longer works. I'm not sure where the issue lies - Is it a problem with Photoshop? Is my font library somehow borked?

Has anyone experienced anything like this? And thoughts on how to remedy?

Hi there,

apparently is a common bug from the Adobe ends. What they suggest is to reset the preferences manually or wait till the next update.
