in last step, it tells me to use the Ellipse Tool:

in last step, it tells me to use the Ellipse Tool:
Applying the Ellipse Tool (U), we need to represent a highlight on the heart element. Firstly represent the basis and then keep pressed Alt button while cutting the unnecessary elements with the same tool.
I don't really know how to do that, any help please?
