majordude macrumors 68020 Original poster Jan 16, 2008 #1 I want to create an image and somehow generate a shadow from light from above. Imagine a bowling ball floating 4" off the ground. I want a shadow underneath the ball so it looks like the ball is 4" off the ground. 😀 Any ideas?

hob macrumors 68010 Jan 17, 2008 #2 use the existing shadow thingy in photoshop. it's somewhere in blending modes.
