macOS PHP Code Testing

Hi. I want to know what options I have for previewing PHP code instead of installing MAMP. Thanks.

PHP Console is $5.00 shareware, but I use it on occasion when I need to test something really quickly. (I use the older 1.6 version that is free, if you can still find it.)

OS X comes with Apache and PHP. Why not use that?

I'd say MAMP except that you say you don't want MAMP. 😉

I guess I'd want to know what the problem with MAMP is.
