Everyone who disapprove on a bigger iphone 6 will be the first one, the first one...in line comes launch day.

Typical iphone fans.

People saying a slightly larger phone won't fit in their pockets. If thats so then where exactly do you place your wallet, keys, and coins?
If you can put your whole hand in your pocket then you will be able to fit in an averaged size smart phone.

Regardless, I after seeing other smartphones out there want a larger screen, not a phablet sized phone but a larger screen (not just taller either). Before anyone says it, I don't want to leave Apple because I love iOS, I like the ecosystem, and I love the build quality of the iPhones.

That looks horrible. I really hope they keep a regular-sized one available.

Watch me not be the first one in line, or in line at all.

I've been holding on to my iPhone 4 for this lovely 5.5 iPhone 6 simply because I didn't want to be stuck on contract with an iPhone 5/5s.

New camera, A8 and 4.7/5.5 display is going to rock.

I don't understand why some people are so against a 5.5" display as an OPTION.

We already know from numerous leaks that there will be a 4.7" iPhone that appears to be aimed at those (like myself) who want a smaller device that can be operated with one hand. It's not as if the iPhone is going to Phablet-only size.

The 5.5" iPhone is clearly aimed at people who want a better media experience and are willing to accept more size/weight. The camera bump seems to be causing unhappiness. I think this bump is some kind of attachment point for lenses.

if they could make a design similar to this in an all aluminum backing then it would look great. Kinda like a flattened out original iPhone.
4" screen is fine if you only use iPhones, but after using larger display phones its hard to adjust to the tiny screen. I'm eager to see the finished product and what improvements will be made in iOS 8.

I'd prefer a 5.5 inch model over anything else as I don't really want both a phone and tablet.

It'd be like 380 PPI and perfect!

Nope you wear slim with boot cut, sometimes in polyester and you like them.

Yeah, you're an i.diot.

I'm pretty sure it will fit in mine, I'm just thinking it will be very uncomfortable when I bend my leg/sit down.

"It is an iPhone 6 in my pocket, AND I'm happy to see you."

I wear straight leg jeans, normally AG protege's and the iPhone 5s is perfect in them, but something bigger is def going to dig into me the moment I move my leg, to say nothing of running up and down the NYC subway stairs.

Has anyone heard of folks complaining about the Note 3 in their pockets? I'm sure there's a forum out there with threads weighing pros and cons. I know of only 2 folks with the note, and neither complain about the size (they actually love the large screen), but I never specifically asked about how they carry the device.

All the note owners I know the phone comes out of their pocket whenever they sit down. They are happy with that and that it's always two thumb use.

Not saying Apple shouldn't do this as an option, but anything larger than 4" should be an option not a replacement to the current iPhone.

They really should be doing a classic/nano split at this stage and let both be the best they can be. Which means the 4.7 doesn't make a lot of sense and they should be jumping straight to 5.5- 6 range.

Give themselves nice clear steps. 4,6,8,10 screen sizes in the iDevice range.
Unless the 4.7 is iPod media device more than iPhone.

WANT! Except they need to take care of the protruding camera. That sounds like it will be prone to damage, and getting caught in things.

People act like the protruding camera is confirmed. These are rumors.

Everybody calm down and wait for the damn phone!

It does look bad, though.

I hope that isn't the only screen size Apple go with for the iPhone 6, 4.7 inch sounds a sweet spot, but 5.5 is too big, its a phablet not a phone, iPhab comes to mind for a new name for a iPhone this big :)

THIS needs to be the iphone 6. Some amateur designers out there are out-doing Apple's team.

Why does every keep saying its too big!? its not even that bad. STOP being little BITCHES!!!!!

I half wonder whether Apple's intention is the 4.7" is the iPhone 6C, the 5.5" the full-fledged iPhone 6. Even if not, unlike with past releases where have just ordered online for delivery on release day I won't be doing this time, shall be waiting till can hold each in hand determine comfort of holding. The 5.5" is attractive for surfing the web, however curious what would be like trying to hold it for awhile when phoning someone. Hopefully the 64GB model won't be mortgage worthy either LOL

I could apply for exchanging to a brand new IR-ed, yellowish, early-2013 rMBP. Brazil is not USA. Apple is not so generous to us.

Yikes, I didn't know you were in Brazil. Still, Apple should be responsible for manufacturing errors. Not sure what to say, but if you are planning to exchange it and it's going to benefit you, then I hope it all goes well.

If Apple haven't wait this long to release a bigger screen, the smartphone market share lead will be Apple.
Bigger is always better, ones you go big you will not want to go back to something tiny.

The iPod Touch camera ring sticks out a bit and does not look horrible.

Now if the camera were to look like this I would agree with you:

Meh, yeah I suppose, but the iPhone is the flagship product, they need to get that right.. Might not have been worth the R&D for the iPod, but I don't think there's an excuse for the iPhone IMO.
