Can I use Photoshop’s eyedropper to pick colors from anywhere on the screen?

Yes, just click the tool within the PS image window and then, keeping the button down, move outside the window.

Thanks for the tip! I know Flash can let you select any color on screen like that, but I didn't know this trick that lets Photoshop do the same.
