iPad mini Pick up in store via Apple Online?

So....tomorrow the iPad Mini comes out, obviously. On Apples online store, it says available for in store pickup starting 11/2. Does that mean when 11/2 strolls around in a few hours I should be able to reserve one to pick up tomorrow? What's the stock supply like? I bought one online a while back, but it's not supposed to get here until 11/16. I'm trying to get one earlier if possible and cancel the online order.
