Your not going to see much difference when loading up a film. Try loading graphic intense game or some video encoding (I think the GPU does that could be wrong) or some other graphically intensive task.

But the video was still cool. I have to wait ages before I get my MBP, the only way I can afford one at the moment is by paying £40 every month over 36 months not ideal. I still have to sign stupid forms and wait for them to confirm and blah blah blah, I want my MBP!!!!

to the one saying who cares that it was a 1/2 faster... it wasn't intended to be a comparison. I just thought it was kind of neat to have all three of them playing together geez if you don't care then don't read it or watch it

I also wanted to say: I've noticed a lot of people here are doubtful of what the new macbooks/pros will look like in person. THEY ARE DAMN SEXY! Make sure you go see a display model. After setting all three up next to eachother with the same wallpaper, we saw how excellent the LED and glass made the view on the new macbook. It was incredible!

I have seen one at my local Apple store and hate the 2-tone. Some of the upgrades are pretty nice, but overall I wasn't impressed. Just my opinion though. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder as we all know.

I'm sure it will be an awesome laptop for you and congrats on your purchase.

the things to the right of the thumb scoop opener thingy is the sleep light and then the infra red sensor to the right of it. I didn't know what it was at first either but I checked the manual

i figured it was the IR port, thanks for confirming! I didn't think to check the manual. (I didn't buy one yet, just curious).
