Picked up the very first case minutes after delivery of the very first FineWoven case at Del Monte Apple Store in Monterey, CA.

It had a pretty noticeable defect, so I swapped it for another case. The 2nd looks fine (hehe).

It’s a weird feel, but I wouldn’t go as far as “suede like”. It rougher than that but still feels nice.

I’d recommend it.

Mine got delivered today! Taupe. It's a very interesting case, very definitely woven and not suede like to me. It feels and looks like a literal fine woven thread. I like it, but it's definitely not the same as leather.

Already see a permanent scratch on it and it wasn't even out of the box yet.
Yes, definitely a permanent scratch.

The 2nd case looks flawlesss.

Also I tried to put my 12 pro in the case and that was a no go. Sides are too narrow on the case.

Extremely easily! And it becomes permanently scratched. You can accidentally move your fingernail on it and that mark will now live there.
I personally am not too concerned about this as a fingernail can permanently scratch leather as well. However, I do worry about snagging the material and causing a tear/run. So we'll have to see how it lasts over time. I ordered one for my (hopefully soon to arrive) iPhone 15 Pro. I can take a one-time chance on $59, so we'll see. If it doesn't hold up, I won't be buying any additional colors.
