Picking up a new 27" Mac Cinema Display is this a good deal?

A guy on craigslist said he works for Apple and I verified the serial # and it's good, that he just bought this about a month ago and never opened it. I am going to look at it tonight and probably buy it. But it's sealed. $650. It's still got full Apple Care for a year left. I am going to hook this up to my PC (since it's a mini-dp model) once I get an adapter for my GTX 680, but I can use it with my MBP for a few days to try it out. Should I be worried about anything? He said we can open up the box and check it out if I want if I am serious. I told him I am. :)

Well I got it. Wish I had the advice before hand but its here. Nice monitor! No dead pixels, but I do have one small white spec of dust under the clear cover. Not sure if I can get that out or apple can.

    Love it so far!

    Looks like the Non-Thunderbolt version.

$650 is not bad, TB Refurb version is $829.

The dust, you can take the top off and use a duster to push it off. I'm sure if you take it to the Apple store they'll do it for you.

Yep, couldn't pass up on that deal. Will try the duster part. Thanks!
