Pics in chrome show as a white box with paper in middle.

On facebook ONLY the pics next to people's or page's names show as like a small white box with a paper having a drawing of like a landscape on it. Its really bugging me cuz it looks just ugly and i want to see the pics it doesnt look natural. 😡 So what do i do, i have lion osx gonna upgrade to mountain lion after two days and i use chrome (this issue is on chrome and safari)😕😕
