bump...
How is this sleeve working out for you after some time? No scratches or problems with it?

Is it really impact resistant like teh zero shock?
I am thinking of getting one because this looks like the only slim impact resistant, scratch resistant sleeve out there...

or is there another? all the ones i have seen have been more like bags, less like sleeves..

still working out well -- havent noticed any problems with it yet; havent dropped it yet to really test it though (hopefully never will)

yes i agree..but since i will be carrying my macbook around in my regular old volcom messanger bag with absolutly no padding i need a protective case for it. Since most padded/impact resistent cases, or protective cases are rather large i wanted a sleeve. I however cant find a thing sleeve that IS impact resistance for a good price other the Shinza zero shock one, but that hasnt been made for a macbook yet... BUT this one, for 13.99 US seems like it IS impact resistant...So i wanted to see if it actually was..

hahah Do that glass test with it, drop something heavey and let us know what happends to the glass haha

Even though i dont particulary think its the prettiest sleeve, it seems to be the only impact resistant one..

Point made..

Impact Resistant..

if you guys want that sleeve without the logo just click on the seller's store and find the sleeve for the vaio sz. That sleeve is the same size and about 2 bucks cheaper ;)

I *like* the sleeve with the Apple logo. :) It's not like a thief is going to just decide not to steal a laptop because it doesn't have a logo on the casing. And it's already clearly a laptop. :)

well the Viao one says Viao on it anyway, so they would still take that, at least if its an apple logo they might not take it cause they cant use the OS X haha

I think I'm going to put in an order for one as well. It looks pretty nice. Either that, or go to the Apple store and blow $50 on something nicer with handles. I love the incase nylon sleeve/case with handles too.

Maybe; but at twice the price; does the quality really surpass it that much?

yes, easily i have a booq vyper mk II for my 12" powerbook and its a brilliant case.

the 'fake' apple one is ok but not impact resistant its made of neoprene (like a wetsuit) and hard bumps/pressure will still damage your macbook
