I see you have a lot of apps along with your X. You have lots of tools at your disposal. Perhaps just practicing technique and things like lighting, composition and such are something to concentrate on.
There are lots of useful articles and vids out there to help.

I have a bunch of apps. Never know what to use

Such is the Paralysis of Choice. Delete all of your photo apps except for one and use that for a month. Explore all the options and really understand what it can do. Then delete that app and do the same with another. Most of them will do the same thing albeit with slightly different effects; over time you will come to know which one you like the most. You don't need two screens worth of photo apps.
