I've only managed to find one picture of the space gray sport Apple Watch with the black band, does anyone have any other pictures or video of it?

Sorry, let me rephrase:
On 14 of those 15 pictures the Space Gray appears to be darker than iPhone Space Gray. I'm sure Space Gray will be the same across devices it's just that in so many pictures that are available now, including on Apple's website, it does appear darker. But since these pictures are taken in less than optimal light conditions I'll just have to wait to see it in person.

Yes, put keep in mind you're looking mostly at the face, which is entirely black screen including the border (no different from Space Gray iPhone) and the only Space Gray you're actually looking at is on the sides (and in the watch's shadow).

I'm surprised nobody knows the answer by now? Surely one of the 100 journalists who saw them in person can confirm it's the same color as Space Gray found on iPhone/iPad or report it's a bit darker?

It's obviously darker. My Space Grey iPhone doesn't even get close to that darkness in shadow.
