Picture editor like paint

So I need to do some simple re sizing of some pictures for forums postage.

I can't seem to figure out how to do it simply on OS X and constantly moving pictures over to my pc to do it easily on paint is a pain in the arse.

Can anyone recommend a simple picture editor I can use, or teach me how to use iPhoto.

Preview.app will allow you to easily resize pictures.

Tools>Adjust Size

Or if you need to do a large batch of them you could build a simple 2-step Automator workflow.

(You might also discover some other things you can use Automator for- it's very handy)

Seashore is just like Paint. It also works natively on OS X.

Graphic Converter isn't really a drawing app, and Tux Paint isn't a fully native OS X app (I think... I might be wrong there.)
