The photo is of some flowers from the same botanic gardens I went to 3 days ago. :)
It must be springtime down under. There is a sense of tranquility in this image that is quite pleasing. I would try to make it a little more golden.

What I like most is the transition from shadow to light. I wonder if it makes sense to accentuate that transition (i.e. make it more prominent by further deepening the contrast).

multi-shot panorama

This is an image of one of the trails I run on. 362 days a year it is not a stream.

Let me be the first to comment on your nice legs :D (I'm sure I'm not the only one who was thinking this).

Where were you? I can't recognize that spot?

The intersection the streetcar is passing through is Queen/Bay. You know those elevated walkways around city-hall that have been closed since forever? they've opened them back up (only just recently from what I can tell), and I was standing on the part overlooking Queen street that connects to the Sheraton Hotel.

You mean to say it's slightly too cold? I like how white the petals look in the photo so I kept it as is, but I can understand why it might look better if the photo didn't look so cold.

If you meant that I should make it much warmer and experiment, then I might do that as well. ;)

Correct...I meant "warmer" in order to accentuate the sunlight and give it a more springy feel.

One bird likes to have its picture taken. The other...looks a trifle self-conscious.

This was taken two summers ago. All I can remember is that it was ISO 200. Forgot the shutter speed and f number since it was shot using 35mm and I don't have EXIF data (obviously.)
