...taken last night from the skating rink at Toronto City Hall during the cavalcade of lights that runs through December. Hot chocolate, music, live bands -- all while skating on ice in subzero temperatures -- how does it get any better?? 😛

That's me, today. It was clear, chilly (~ +1 c) and windy (~25 km/h). I used a "Gorillapod" to attach my camera to a tree and snap a self-timer shot on a little used path far from town, at about the halfway mark of my 3 hour route. What a fine way to spend an afternoon. 🙂

Thanks. Those are cool trees. I'm not sure but I think they are chestnuts. I've seen locals picking up the nuts around there in October. It's one of my favorite spots on my run.

Thanks! No, I was not zooming during the shot, though the unprocessed shot almost looked like it. I did add radial blur in PSE.

Fantastic picture! I love blurred background for flowers and stuff like that. I almost like it more than the flower in focus. I'm weird like that.🙂
