That is a spectacular shot! It has a very eerie feeling to it.
and b0tt094 Thanks! I'm glad to read you write so. It was, in fact, kind of eerie. The light was quickly dropping, the temperature was falling, and I was over an hour's running time from the city. I had Homer's Odessy on the iPod to keep me company, though.

I'd never heard of a gorillapod until you started mentioning it. Thing looks interesting. Do you find it sturdy / reliable? I notice they make a stronger "slr-zoom" model.
I like it (it weighs nothing and does grip in weird spots), but I wish I had bought the SLR model. The small g.pod can just barely handle the hefty, 4 AA Canon A640. I think I'll give this one away with one of my too many cameras, and get the bigger one next time I go to Seoul.

Freebooter,
Those last two images you had posted are fantastic. Great texture on the first, and exellent lighting and moodiness on the last. Great Job. :D

Very interesting subject matter, always neat to see photos of things that are different like this (at least different from my part of the world). Plus the bright shirt sets up a nice contrast with the rest of the picture.
