Hudson River - New York

This shot was taken in upstate NY on the Westchester side of the Hudson River. I took the photo with my (almost) obsolete Sony Cybershot P72.

Nice shot. What did you shoot this with? I would love to shoot more macro. I'm looking to purchase a camera in the next month or two and I'm not sure if I should go with the Canon 30D or spend the extra money on the Nikon D200. Anybody have any opinions on these camera's?

This was shot with a Canon 300d. I am looking to get the 30d also, but will have access to a 5d at the school I am going to next year. Canon 30d vs. Nikon D200 is hard decision. Probably will come down to which brand you like better and what lenses they offer that you will use.

just another shot from the hot weekend we just had

Mmm, that's fantastic. You can really see it was hot as well.

It looks like a model of a railway. There were some fantastic aerial photos of cities I saw a while ago (I think they were of Birmingham in the UK) that were similar - hyper-real colours and a very shallow depth of field.

Strom coming in Montreal in July 2004...

It beging likes a nice day and then like in a movie the clouds appears fast and the wind to ...it was weard all in the same time and we had a lot of rain .The place is in the Old montréal near the St-Laurent river ...

^^Wow, nice photo. Being at the right place at the right time sure helped you with that one, although where is the "right place" when you're talking about Montreal! :p

Anyway: Near Echo Point, Katoomba -- June 17th, 2006.
