Nice picture, now what were you telling some other poster about including some data on the picture. : )

By the way, you have put up several really nice photos lately.

Inside a sunflower, I found a spider hiding from the torrential, monsoon rain. By luck, I captured a drop falling into the frame.

Whoring out the depth of field on the 50mm, again. :D

[cool fountain shot]

Ah! I'm a sucker for shots where water is frozen in motion. :D

Hey, I did give the place and date! ;) I just don't know the exact name of the restaurant because I took it from outside the restaurant near the window, and the EXIF data has never been really asked for. Just a passing fad, hopefully, unless the shot is one of those photos where the EXIF data is very interesting. Mine was just too typical to bother posting data.

Secondly, thanks for the compliment. :)

The bokeh could be better. :p

I really need to get that lens though. It's interesting to play with, and just nice for low light.

Thanks seenew and annk. Yes, I'm also a sucker for pictures of water, and was inspired to take and post these by your water pictures, annk. I'm very pleased with the S3 IS, and the short shutter time worked very well when the sun was shining so brightly on the water, making it stand out frozen while the building in the background turned out almost black.

That's interesting, it actually looks like you took it between 9 and 10 p.m.

That's a great photo. It has a very gloomy and/or mysterious mood to it. It looks almost like a painting.

^^Wow, fantastic photo. Love it. :)

I'm posting more photos of lines. I'd post a photo of water, but it wouldn't be nearly as good as what gekko posted, so no way. :p

Here's a photo. It's just a building in Brisbane, July 31st, 2006. I've posted a few photos of "lines" recently. Haha, it could be a theme for an assignment. Maybe I'll suggest it next month if I remember. ;)

For those of you who followed my controversial (but helpful) thread on 17-year-old freelancing, I took your advice and got some lessons from another profressional horse photographer. There's definite improvement, although I still have a ways to go.

For those of you who didn't see that other thread, this is what my pictures looked like before I purchased the Nikon D50 and took lessons:

Thanks, gekko and spitfirejd.

Another one from my holiday, after a 4 hour hike up some massive dusty hills, this was my feet. :D I like it because it sums up the whole feeling of getting back dirty and tired after a long walk, but nice and relaxed. :)

Your feet look very satisfied, could be an ad for Birkenstock. :)
