Couple points.
1. Does anyone know for sure (oh wait, none of us know anything for sure) that these are all pictures of the same model? As in, could there not be two models, one based on the existing model, and the new foxier wider, 3g higher end one? Possibly even that ugly thick angled plastic angled one just shown as a budget model (gack, what did I just say???) Perhaps some of these differences we're seeing are inconsistencies beetween models. The ones with the black backs look proportionally muh different than the silverback gorillas, which look like the one in my hand.
2. These locations are getting... one. Individually packaged, like a demo or promo piece. It could be plenty of time before these are actually available yet. I'm all gung ho to sell my gsm model tomorrow, but perhaps I'll wait it out.
3. If faked, that "discoloration" around the camera hole is pretty well done. Very consistent with the spectral retractions coming off the rest of that inlays edges.
I could keep trying to figure it out. ...or I could just go to sleep, & when I wake up, it'll be WWDC, and I'll know for sure! This is the best kind of rumor, solved by sleeping in late.
