Very nice, never seen a Cove, are those Race Face cranks and an XTR group? Sweet bike, dude.

My pride and joy. Her name is Marie. I've been riding my fixed gear for well over a year and I love it. I recommend it to anyone. (I'm getting rid of the rear brake soon. :D)

btw, astraycliche, how did you go about getting your IRO? I know on a different forum I'm on there was a group buy. Did you get in on that?

I started in 1996 with a Wheeler mountain bike - all that's left from back then is the frame.
In 2002 finally got my road bike - a 2001 model Argon 18 Helium. Very cool bikes from a Canadian bike company.
In 2005 I found a really great Honda VFR (2001 - pre-VTEC - silver, the fastest VFR colour!) and have been enjoying it since then...
And now, just last week, put a deposit on my newest in the collection - Cervelo's P2C (another great Canadian bike company!). Did a try-a-tri this summer and will be doing the half-ironman in Muskoka next September! The P2C Photo is from their website...

Well, with winter here I've had to winterize the bike:

It's got an ATB tire on the front, and one of these studded babies on the back:

Moves a lot slower now, but cuts through the snow with no problem at all! Did have to remove the rear fender to fit the massive rear tire, but I have a plastic clip-on one that should keep snow from flying up my ass.

Nice. I was thinking of building a similar one, but with the old-skool bars like so:

Yeah, I've definitely added an old-school cruiser to the list of bikes I have to build-up next. It might be a fun winter project, because when spring comes I'll be spending all my time repairing and cleaning my winter bike!

Waterford 2200 built up with Campy Chorus (vintage 2000) and Campy Nucleon wheels. It has around 10k miles on it, but I haven't ridden it much in the last few years. Sweet ride - I rode a hilly century in perfect comfort (or at least as perfect as riding up and down hills for 100 miles gets) 3 days after getting it. I also have a Gunnar Crosshairs built up with a Campy racing triple, Paul touring cantis, and the wheels that originally came with the Waterford - Chorus hubs and Mavic rims. I have used this bike as a commuter, stand bike, wet weather bike, and the odd century.

Here's one of mine...
