Also on Jeepforum.com and jeepsunlimited.com. Great for when the cherokee acts up.

89 Cherokee previously, sold no problems with 160,xxx and a 93 Grand, finally scrapped when the odometer hit 282,xxx and the tranny needed replacement.

Love them, built like tanks and nothing you don't need. I think the magic is gone with the Liberty, no 4.0 inline, no AW4 tranny. Plus I still dig the boxy looks of my cherokee.

Only Jeep I would consder now is an older wrangler, possibly a Rubi.

Yeah. 2 door wrangler is really the only good looking Jeep right now. My Dad bought an '08 Grand Cherokee and it is a really nice Jeep. Not my style though (unless it was an SRT8).

The inline 6 plus AW4 or AX15 is just such a bulletproof combination. If I get ambitious, I'll take the 2.5l engine out of the comanche and drop an inline 6 in there. Swap out the AX4 and put either an AX5 or AX15 in. It runs good for a 4 cylinder, but you can really tell it needs more power.

I'm on jeepforum. Add Naxja.org to your list of jeep websites. Oh, and comancheclub.com if you're into that, too.

Here is one I took the other day in the office parking lot.

that challenger looks sweet in a dark orange color.

That is a sweet looking car.

American car manufacturers are really hitting the nail on the head with the outside design of the newest cars...unfortunately, the inside is a different story.

I rode in a Charger today, which I think looks great on the outside...but, inside it is so cheap. I was examining the chrome fascia around the gear selector and tapped it to see if it was metal. When I did the piece gave a little so I pulled on it to see if it was lose and it came off in my hands.

Tis true. Even though they may have dropped the ball in terms of car design in recent years, there's no denying that the Germans are miles ahead in terms of fit and finish on their cars. It's all well and good building a good looking car like the Charger and it's all well and good people saying on the basis of a picture that they will take one over Beemers and Audis but when reality and practicalities of ownership set in people will go with the Beemer or Audi or other German car as it is frightfully annoying to own a car where random bits of trim come off in your hand and the switches and buttons get stuck...

Just got my 2010 mazda 3 today. Its a fun car and was cheap with my lovely government funded $4500 off.

Don't have any pictures of my real one yet but this is the same one and color and all.

Now thats one very happy looking car :D

Good to see another Jeep lover here. I've owned four Jeeps so far and I've never had any problems with them. From my experience very reliable vehicles. That inline 6 engine can run for 300k miles and beyond.

I agree with you on the Liberty. I really hope they bring back the Cherokee soon.

my mom bought an 05 Cherokee and (i'm not that informed so bear with me) her car fell victim to that whole transmission recall, she got rid of it in 08 for a Subaru Outback (yuck wagon.) and i don't think she has any plans of getting another Jeep Grand Cherokee :( it's too bad cause i fricken loved that thing!

So. How many hummers have you rescued so far? :D

I was actually just thinking about posting that comment but then scrolled down to reply and seen you already had. :D

I must also be fair to Hummers though as they have changed how some of the Military work and they're great machines just very thirsty.

that challenger looks sweet in a dark orange color.

Dark orange or the nice Camaro yellow. :)

... and "silhouetted flag guy". Almost off topic but there are some slight reflections of cars behind the dust cloud. :p
