How old are you? If it's your first car, that leads me to believe you're fairly young. You have to start somewhere and most don't start off with a high end car. Keep in mind, us older folks have jobs/careers that allow us to drive nice cars. Be patient. You'll get there. Hard work pays off. I'm not sure if they lease cars in Europe but whatever you do, stay away from leases. You're just throwing money away with leases. Pretty much the same as renting.

I'm not saying that I wouldn't drive a newer S4, because I would, in a heartbeat. I'm just particularly fond of the B5 variant, and I knew I would own one after one ride in a buddy's imola yellow 2000 at Sebring.

I'm also a sucker for forced induction, but I've only had cars that have turbos so I don't really have hands-on experience with superchargers. I have read up on the subject and there are inherent advantages to both. I have found it very easy to make additional power and/or vary it on demand in my turbo cars, vs having to change a pulley for a supercharger. For example, I made my first "boost controller" on my Z31 300zx from a repurposed EGR valve, allowing me to vary the pressure at the wastegate with flip of a switch. But as you said, with a supercharger you have near instant power in a nice, linear fashion which is very appealing, particularly on corner exit, I would imagine. With a new S4, I might be happy with the power it already has and not feel the need to mess with it, who knows? I do know that I love those flat-bottomed steering wheels and I'd be happy to drive it everyday.

speaking of which, have you posted photos? I follow this thread pretty closely so I've probably already seen it, but post some more anyways!

'07 Nissan Navara Avenutra

Picked it up yesterday wonderful car always wanted one.

This image was taken at the road side whilst we waited for the Recovery Truck to tow my Fiat Punto back home. The gear stick snapped and all the cables have bent. Very bad design.

But I love the Navara.

Added another photo of the rear and the exhaust system :)

Can't see really is it a photoshop or that is real plates, if real - how much did you pay for them?

It's a little different though it's more accessible for a thief to turn on a computer and google the car name and exact model to find a number plate to use than to walk around the streets trying to find the exact car model you need and then the number plate in theory.

its actually to prevent people cloning my number. Someone may see my real reg plate online or whatever and go steal a car of similar spec and or colour get a fake plate fitted and commit a crime in it.

Right after a wash. It's pretty dirty at the moment though, a few long trips plus rain have left their mark :p

Think I overdid it with cleaning products though...
