Talk about high jacking BMW's interior aesthetic. That's ok, because Ford high jacked Volvo's.

I was looking at the Mazda 6 when I was shopping, but opted for the Fusion. Unfortunately, the 2 dealerships I went to were not interested in selling me a car.

You mean you weren't getting the deal you wanted?

No, I mean I asked to see a black on black Mazda 6. Apparently this was too much trouble for him since he didn't have one out and would have to go to the back to get one. I told him that's fine, I just want to see the inside of what he has readily available. He went back inside, handed me a brochure, and told me the differences between the 3 trims. I asked to take one for a test drive (still haven't been shown the inside of the car yet), but he said he rather have me drive the one I wanted so if I could come back the next day and he'll have the black on black ready for me. I thanked him for his time and left.

Your fuel prices mean you don't need to.

£1.10ish for a litre at the moment, and has been as high as £1.35, for petrol.

I live in Europe so I am aware of the price difference and I agree that that's the reason but it doesn't change the fact that the better 4 cylinders are are here.

Strange, never had that problem. I know my buddy went to buy a 2010 Charger in cash and the salesman laughed and said "yeah right", guess he didn't think a 21yr old had enough money saved to buy it. Little did he know, we just did a 15 month tour in Iraq.

Glad you found a vehicle you wanted.

Needed a bigger car so I traded in my IS250 for this : NX200t F Sport. One of the most comfortable and smoothest cars I've driven.

I'm not sure what the heck Toyota is thinking with this new front end look for their cars. Looks like they took it out on Lexus as well.

The new Lexus design isn't for everyone. Personally, I love the aggressive look.

The grill looks interesting, very concept car-ish - in theory at least - if you have to put a license plate on there it is just plain weird looking to be honest.

The Fit is gone, replaced with a Golf R. I should be ordering new wheels and competent tires in the next week or so, then I am signed up for an autoX on the 18th, and 2 track events in May at Thunderhill and Laguna Seca.

Quite the replacement. Just a slight performance jump:) Autox sounds fun, just don't ding the R. Cheers

My instructor at last weekend's event at Willow Springs (driving the BMW) characterized me as conservative and he was accurate. I won't be putting either the car or myself at risk.

I say don't ding the R cause I'm a bit partial to VW's;). My JSW '12 TDi and her '10 Passat Komfort wagon. Good luck on the autox. Take pics.

My "new" car is a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L with Navigation. 103k miles. I've had it since the beginning of February and I love it. Just had the windows tinted yesterday.

No worries. My biggest challenge at the autoX will be beating off my friends who want rides (or for me to stick around for fun runs so they can drive my car). I plan to use the event as sort of a car control clinic so I can begin to get a feel for where the limits of the car are in advance of the 2 track events I am signed up for in May.

And I ordered wheels, tires, and mounting hardware today: Neuspeed RSe07 18x8et45 wheels in black and Dunlop ZII Star Specs in 235/40R18. I'll take some new photos after those arrive and are mounted.

Tomorrow the car will get a full detail: wash off the bugs from today's canyon drive, then polish it with my P-C and get a coat of Blackfire sealant on it.

Ahhh, I want the Golf R so bad. I have a 2014 GLi with an APR Stage One Tune. Its quick, but I can't imagine the R! I'm not sure if you've looked around but APR just released an ECU tune for the R, HUGE gains...Warrany or no warranty, that is the question.haha

Yup, I know, and a stage 2 tune is in the works. I am guessing the stage 2 requires a downpipe. Other than wheels and tires I plan to drive the car stock for a while. Once I get some track time in this car, I will have a better feel for what it needs.

New ride. Love everything expect for the standard stereo. It's absolutely terrible since the GLA and CLA standard stereo is fine.

Picked this little guy up last week to cut down on the wear and tear on the Audi. Fiat 500e. The gas savings alone make up for the monthly payment and insurance.
