Picture won't remove from trash

I can't delete this picture in my trash, because it says it is in use. However the picture is not open in any other programs, other than Facebook. Any ideas?

Quit your web browser, or open activity monitor and look for any processes that may be using the photos.

Or the easiest way is to just log out then log back in.

Ok, it deleted when I quit the web browser. That was about to drive me insane. Thanks, but why was the web browser using the picture? Or how?

What was the picture of? Did you download it or view it in your browser at any time?

Use an app called "Sloth" or "What's Keeping Me?" to find out what files are opened by what apps next time.
