Pictures of/experiences with Gold Apple Watch Sport w/ Antique White Sport Band

Hey guys,

I've been thinking about getting an Apple Watch recently. I already got one a year ago but I had problems with the black band of my Space Grey Apple Watch Sport, so I returned it. Have been wanting to get one ever since and I'm close to pulling the trigger now as there are some nice deals.

Anyway, I tend to get an Apple Watch Sport in Gold. I know many of you might think that's not the classic go-to color as a man, but I don't really like silver, grey seems to be too limiting in regard of different bands and rose gold, while beautiful, is not really for me. I'm also sure I want to get the 38mm version because it fits perfectly.

This is why I tend to buy the Gold Apple Watch Sport w/ Antique White Sports Band. The colors look beautiful on the press photos, but I have not been able to find any decent photos other than the Apple ones. Does anyone have own this watch and happens to have a few nice pictures? I'd also be happy for general feedback, how happy you're with the color in terms of additional bands, chipping of the color etc.

I don't recall specifically any pictures of this combination on this forum, though a Google search turns up a bunch.

Just buy what you like - don't worry about if it's "manly" or not. It's your money and you've got to wear it. No point in buying something you don't like just to look masculine.

I'm very tempted myself to get a gold aluminum sport for those days when I feel like wearing gold instead of my stainless steel silver.

I bought the gold sport and midnight blue sport band recently. I was stood in the Apple Store for ages trying to make a decision between the three finishes, but I'm very happy with it, it looks really nice. And at no point have I ever thought it's a colour more suited for women.

Band wise it looks great with the black sport band, so probably looks good with any black band? Am also thinking of a brown or vintage tan leather strap as well. I have on order a cheap Milanese loop copy that matches the gold sport finish. It's still to arrive so I don't know exactly what it looks like yet.

I also have gold but with midnight blue band, its a little more elegant than the silver sport. Gold is gender neutral. As stated in the above post it looks great with black bands. I have a black sport band. I also found a copy of the milanese that matches exactly. The color is called vintage gold, it was on eBay. All the leather loops look great as well, I have a black, a white and a red. I get tons of compliments.

I was at the Mall of America this past Sunday and they have a large Apple Store that was packed as usual. Every table was packed with people and the Apple Watch table had people buying right over the counter with the sales rep ringing them up right there. They had the combination you are referring to and it looked good.

I went in looking for the new midnight blue classic leather buckle or the new gray but neither was available. Still waiting for my gray leather classic buckle that was 2-3 weeks. Now it is 4-6 weeks.

Well that arrived quickly. A nice weight to it and the magnet is reassuringly strong. Quite a good match to the gold aluminium watch itself.
