i went to a mac store to look at the iMac and looked for the power button thinking it would be in a ridiculous spot (since i heard so many people complaining about it)... it was on the side in perfect reach! i don't see what the fuss was all about!

the power button is on a reachable spot and is very easy to find to the touch. I guess they put it close to the back because of the clean design of the front of the imac. Takes a little getting used to but is no big deal.

You can buy a USB power switch. Mounts really nicely onto the
keyboard. I actualy have one coming for my new iMac. Ill take
a few pics and post when it gets here....

Those pics are great, the 17" iMac was a great move I think by apple, it is now really set aside from any other consumer level computer out there. FANTASTIC! .....and I want one :D

Are there any firewire/usb TV tuners out there that works with this iMac?

I just bought the Formac DV converter to pull in old VHS and 8mm tapes. the reason I picked the Formac was Mac )S x support, FireWire, and it has a built in tuner. Works great!!:D

I'm using it on an Indigo 400 mhz iMac, will be using it on my 17" iMac AS SOON AS IT ARRIVES at my local Mac dealer. The price of supporting local shops. Sigh...
