This is my cat Boo I took in portrait mode with my 11 Pro.

Adam.

Nice cat and nice photo

Portrait mode are improved with this camera but it goes crazy with cat’s hair.

Halide app have a better algorithm and the cat’s hair are more detailed.

If past photos show off what is capable from previous iPhone models then the new iPhone 11 Pro photos will certainly not disappoint. Hope to show off mine in the near future.
Taken directly outside the Apple Store on pickup day. Sorry uploaded with iPad not sure why it is turned.

Amazing shots! Quick question. Some posters include which phone they used and many are the Pro/Pro Max. I don’t see many stating they used the regular 11. I know the difference should be limited to the telephoto lens only, but in reality are photos taken with the 11 in night mode, portrait mode, etc at the same quality level as the pro models (non-telephoto)? Just curious.
Both phones share the same hardware and software, except for the telephoto lens. There are no differences in the photos taken.

It was well past sunset and the stars were out. With the naked eye, you couldn't even see the rocks in the foreground. I held the phone on a short retaining wall, and the iphone told me to hold still for 6 second night mode shot (iirc).
