iPhone 11 Pictures Taken by iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro

Last evening in Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, taken on my iPhone 11 Pro Max. Edited with the Apple Photo App.
Or the "crash" after too much catnip...
Went to edit the photo and the little circles towards the bottom of the screen, slide over until I got to the circle that said "black point" and adjusted it from there.
Why would there be an embarassment for taking pics?

Taken today on an 11PM. First is a vivid shot, and the second is regular.
This first picture is nothing special, but I am putting it in to show off the second picture that was taken with night mode at almost the same angle. No point in even posting the picture from my XS because it is horrible looking at night.
Very cloudy, so basically no light from the stars. Only light is from what is in front of me.

Can someone take a picture in pure dark? I’m doing this in night mode, holding still, and it shows like this. What gives?

At a place called Heritage Village - lots of old buildings and items from the past.
I’ve spent the weekend comparing my iPhone X with my 11 side by side.I’m quite surprised listening to all the hype but found the 11 performed worse a lot of the time when it came to detail. Normal light no difference to worse but started to show its colours in lower light. A little disappointed to be honest.
I’ve found the complete opposite tbh. Weird
Your phone is either faulty, or your not using the camera app properly. There’s a noticeable difference between even the XS let alone the X and the new iPhones.

Well, technically one person did 😆 But seriously this is an amazing camera. The low light improvements alone, even without night mode activated, are significantly better.
Even in a room with pitch black, without night mode activated it is still see-able
