Pictures turning 45 degrees when synced with MacBook

Hey all, Im new to posting, so wasn't sure if this had been brought up.

I have a 16GB 3G iPhone, and when i upload pics to my macbook these pics then get stored in a camera folder - all good.

Then when i sync my iPhone, when i go into my Camera roll, some of the pictures have turned 45 degrees (only SOME of the pictures)

This can be very frustrating especially when u are trying to show photos, as when u turn the phone landscape the picture turns another 45 degrees.

Anyone came across this?
