I wonder if anyone has thought of making a case for a macbook that you can piggy-back the ipad above the macbook pro screen. You could have a text book going on the ipad, and taking notes on your macbook. You could do movies, apps, newspapers, it'd be pretty sick. But I bet it'd be way to heavy, unless the case was really solid, and idk about moving it...

    what do you think?

Personally, I don't see the value in such a setup
But if you are talking about somehow attaching it to the MBP screen, then no, I don't think the screen could support it

yeah connecting it to use as an external screen would be incredible, but far out of the question

There are much better options for an external monitor

You could just buy the iPad dock and put it next to your MBP..?

In theory, being able to use an iPad as a 2nd monitor would be neat given it's ultra portability. But in practicality it wouldn't be that useful due to the iPad's lower resolution.

This isn't relevant to what he was talking about.
