Maybe you should post the colored link here for people to include in their sig if they want ...

I've always wondered why there isn't a link up on the main page as part of the site design. MRoogle rocks btw, ty edesignuk.

I suppose it can be edited to however you see fit. I've changed the phrasing of my MRoogle sig a few times, usually to accommodate the theme of my avatars.

P.S. I dig the pimping you did on this, BV. :D

do you mean when you visit ************* or www.*************?

If so it's because there is no page configured there, so you hit my 403, which happens to be that :D

MRoogle delivers over a hundred results for 'whoosh'. Remarkable.

    I had to. :D

I noticed the results no longer show up in Google, but rather on the same site (or rather just with the MRoogle banner)

I noted this in the other thread...

MRoogle is now a custom Google search, basically it just allows me to put the MRoogle logo at the top rather than the Google one

So how much will it cost to bribe Arn to change the 'Search Forums' button at the top of the page to use MRoogle?

I've been using MRoogle for a while now, since shortly after it was first set up (I think I remember it from when it was just a link in a sig, before it was added to the Search options.) It's definitely far better than the default Search Forums box.

Seriously, could we have a decent response from Arn or one of the other top people (Longofest, WildCowboy, The Q Man, MudBug) as to why this change doesn't seem to be possible?

I obviously can't speak for them, but from my point of view it wouldn't be so easy because to get all the options MRoogle has it really needs its own page.

Under Search (at the top of the forum) there is already a Google search of MR through a Google Custom search that arn has set up.

With the space that is available in the Search drop down I don't really see how you can do much more than this, which gets back to why I think you need a whole page dedicated to it. Which is exactly what MRoogle provides.

The best maybe they could do is link directly to it (MRoogle) from that drop down, but I could completely understand from arn's point of view why he would not want to. Everything on MR is his, and under his control, this is his business etc.

Just making MRoolge's existence known through sig links and sticky threads like this is probably the best we can do :)

Could we post a thread that is in support of putting a MRoogle search field on the homepage and see if we can get official response from Arn?
