I'm from Canada. I bought Google Pixel 5 from Google on launch day for $799. It's a great phone for the price. I was browsing my account today with my carrier and had a great offer for the same pixel 5.

Discount if $420 plus my account had another $100 credit through loyalty before. So for a new pixel 5 I paid $0 at the store and remainder of $380 on installments.

Only thing was they didn't have the sage color. But who cares when you get the same phone for $380? My sage pixel 5 is going back to Google tomorrow.

It sounds like you are on Rogers or Fido. I received a text from Fido alerting me to the deal.

An even better offer is the Pixel 4A. After discounts and a two-year payment plan/tab, it's $240 CAD (payable at $10 per month plus taxes). I'm seriously tempted by this.

I'm still hanging on to my 2016 iPhone SE but the battery is beginning to go. I like the 12 Mini, but not the $1,049 CAD price tag for the version with 128gb of storage.

I'm with Koodo

I bought the iPhone 12 pro around launch time and kept it for 10 days. Wanted to see if the camera is may better than Pixel. Camera has improved on iPhone, but i still prefer pixel 5. Plus the price difference between 12 pro and this pixel deal is more than CAD1000!!

So no brainer - returned the 12 pro and happily using the pixel 5

How you like the light weight compared to the Iphone?
I love it. In fact when i picked up my old Pixel 4 XL it felt so heavy and huge. After a few days i got so used to the compact size of pixel 5. I always preferred smaller phone.

Good to hear. I need a trial without a restocking fee to jump in. I want to use it for a week.
