I am having battery drain issues since the last update. I am hoping the next one will fix this issue. As far as I can tell, this is a widespread issue since the last update in april. Android authority did a survey on April 20th and over 75% of Pixel users are experincing battery drain issues.

I am going to hold off on replacing the battery as I hate opening devices, unless completely neccessary .

Update. the new May update fixed all my battery issues. Now when I come home after a long day out instead of having it on battery saver I have 60-70% again. Wild what a rogue update can do to your battery. All is right again. Got the wife's 8 pro updated too and it also is getting much better battery life as well.

I recommend a one plus 15, because of the great battery life and near stock Android experience.
Tbh OnePlus is being merged with oppo and is looking like it will be china only soon so I wouldn't recommend OnePlus anymore as I'm not sure what warranty/repair/software updates will be like going forward

I'm pretty sure if they do become China only they'd have to honour any outstanding warranty in the countries they originally sold.

I can see how the merger and withdrawing from certain markets would affect your buying decision, I myself sold my OP 15!
