It usually happens during a slideshow using the Ken Burns effect or during the transition between photos.

Everyone else thought it sounded like a software bug he was getting in some apps (or the driver.)

Click to expand... i have a stinking suspicion that it has something to do with the driver or with Quartz which does the video rendering...
