Pixelated IMac that won’t boot up

Hi Guys

I am new to this site. Can anyone enlighten my as to the problem with our IMac? Is it the video chip? Worth noting that it gets midway through the start then goes to a blank screen. Cheers

I would bet on a fried GPU.

Can you elaborate on which iMac model this is?

You’re testing me there. It’s very old - 2007 but we had the upgraded to a SDD a few years ago. Maybe too costly to repair
