Placed an order for a gold 5S right at 3:01 AM ET last night. Was quoted 1-3 days..

The email came shortly thereafter and said 7-10 days.

Well it looks like somebody needs to take English 101 again!!! All in all, people like you are the most annoying ones on these forums! Thinking just because you ordered early that your locked in for 1-3 business days. I hope now that your order takes longer just because your a chronic complainer!

We'll then I'm afraid it's just unlucky. You do see that they couldn't have held a slot for you just because you had it in your basket, right? They can only do that when you checkout, because you might add stuff and then change your mind. It's disappointing that the stock level was changing fast and you were slightly too late, but I don't think you can say any more than that.

After I placed the order I got an email from Apple :


Does it mean I will get the phone to my place until 2 of October? It's says still in apple website "processing items" .....

Here's some friendly advice... next time you upload a screen shot, block out your address. :rolleyes:
 
It's a warehouse it's not my actual address .
Beacuse I'm livening in Israel and Apple don't ship to hear I'm using a delivery company so this is way I've uploaded the address.

But still you didn't answer my question .

I personally think that Apple is being conservative on their shipping quotes. Almost everything I've gotten from them has come in 2-3 days.

Next time click faster.

I ordered my gold iPhone (GSM) at 3:01am, with an estimated shipping time of 1-3 days. The order email I received said 1-3 days as well. :p

dude, EXACT same thing happened to me. added to cart but i was busy picking out a case color. got confirmed 7-10. like someone said, next yr u know u gotta get it done in first 5 min. i finished all in 12 min and was too late.suck it up.

That sucks. My confirmation email is 3:02am and I snuck in the 1-3 day group (still shows that) I would be bummed if it had slipped as well.

I don't see this guy crying that the sky is falling. He's just frustrated because he's excited about the phone. All the hate on these threads blows me away. This is supposed to be a place for Apple enthusiasts. If not for people posting status's and such, there would be no threads here. Then someone starts talking about the iPhone 6 and you get another round of hate. This is a rumors site also, right? Lets hear what people would like to see!

You have to click faster. Adding it to the cart doesn't guarantee you anything. The phone is removed from available stock once you click submit and it's processed.

Everyone is spending a few hundred dollars on this and run into the same issues. That's the way it works when something is popular.

When did your confirmation email come in? My 32GB Verizon Gold 5S is still showing 1-3 days and I got my email confirmation at 3:03.
